Visual quiz of Who’s flag? Scatagories and News 2020 quiz

Dear Readers,

We hope you looking forward to the fast approaching spring and warmer weather that comes with it  😊

During December we played a visual quiz of Who’s flag? Scatagories, News 2020 quiz, Name the Santa photo quiz, Christmas anagrams, Pictionary, Bingo, Christmas word search and a member also delivered their own quiz. Kerry wore an Elf hat one week and a Santa hat during the last session of the year. Members wore Christmas jumpers or outfits.

In addition to the virtual youth club/s we are delivering, we have also been making activity pack to send home to our members. The goods were purchased through a grant from Broadland District Council and will provide art and craft items for the members to use at their leisure. Please see the photo of the large pile of items to be sent out over the next few weeks.

We have also had a third young member of staff join our team during this Virtual period. Our young staff are a valuable addition to our friendly team.

The nights are now long and often boring, particularly for young people faced with the regular choice of; get on with the homework or have a quick game on the console. Well now they have a different option!

If you know someone in school years 5, 6, 7 or 8 (the last 2 years of Junior and first 2 years of High school) let them know what we are doing. We are open to new and existing members, once they have signed up, they can attend as often as they choose, once a week, term time only. Membership is free, attendance is free.

We use the ZOOM app and meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

Your new Virtual Youth Services are funded by the Parish Council, who have not forgotten its young residents during this time of uncertain change.

If you would like to join our On-line Youth club/s or find out about any practical support the new Virtual youth services can offer; contact Kerry on 07887 950002 or email kjyouthwork@hotmail.co.uk
